Spreadsheet programming

If you have a lot of information to organise into a form that's easy to interpret and update, then a spreadsheet is a good starting point.

On top of the standard mathematical functions (ie. adding, subtracting, dividing and multiplying), it's possible to incorporate mini-programs and formulas into a worksheet to organise information and produce calculations instantly.

Don't worry if you're no Einstein when it comes to maths, because we'll do all the number crunching. All you have to do is type in the data, and the spreadsheet will do the calculations automatically!

A spreadsheet can also link to your client database to fill in address details and track invoices back to clients - all without additional software.
 

Databases

A good database is the backbone of a successful business.  An effective database takes time to  set up, and time to gather data, but when it does it's an exremely powerful tool.  Your bookkeeping software is usually a good database, but it doesn't always collect the right information.  We can show you how to make your current database more useful, or help you build one from scratch.

Data Mining

Did you know that you can use your business bookkeeping software to generate customised reports that draw extra information from other sources in your computer? Those reports can be viewed on-screen, printed or emailed.
